Apologies for asking a non-sequitur, but I loved your takes on nostalgebraist and Bavirz, and was wondering if you had any visual novel recommendations? Again, sorry for asking out of left field! Hope that’s okay :)
- AI: The Somnium Games, shit gameplay but fun enough
- The Danganronpa series, though v3 is the best one
- The Ace Attorney series, barring the fourth game which is pretty bad
- I found Steins;Gate pretty overrated but still fun
I'm probably missing some, but that should be enough recommendations. Virtue's Last Reward is probably my favorite, but it does require playing 999 first. Have fun!
I also didn't like most of the fics I read this month. I think I recommended it on AWcord, but have you read this: https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/the-unconquerable-transubstantiation-cyoa-multicross.16353/
I think you will enjoy it.

Of course, here you go. Be warned I'm a fan of mystery VNs so they'll be overrepresented here:
- The Nonary Games (999 + Virtue's Last Reward) + Zero Time Dilemma if you absolutely need more after finishing the first two.
- Umineko, the version on steam with original sprites and modded voice acting is probably the best way to do it
- Ever17, you'll need a guide, there's a download on my rec list at https://recordcrash.com
- Doki Doki Literature Club

Isekai Speedrun wasn't very good but I enjoyed reading Jackal Among Snakes, similar premise but very different world and story
It doesn't look bad, but I don't read stubbed stories.
ah, didn't notice they moved it to amazon. oh well. don't think it's worth 40$ to read the whole thing.
